This Privacy Policy explains how K12 Focus, a service of Granular Training, handles information when people use K12 Focus websites and SMS-based services, including AskDistrict demonstrations such as AskHolton.

Information we may collect
When you use our websites or SMS services, we may receive information you choose to provide and technical information needed to operate the service. For SMS use, this can include your phone number, the content of messages you send and receive, message timestamps, delivery information, and related service metadata. We may also collect questions, feedback, and basic usage information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide requested services, respond to user-initiated questions, operate and improve K12 Focus tools, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, understand service usage, and comply with applicable legal and telecommunications requirements.
Service providers
K12 Focus may use service providers that help operate websites, telecommunications, hosting, analytics, and artificial-intelligence features. Information may be processed by those providers only as needed to provide and support the service. We do not sell personal information.
SMS privacy
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent records, is used to provide and support the messaging service and is not shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be disclosed to telecommunications and other service providers as necessary to deliver messages, operate the service, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
School district information
AskDistrict services are designed to answer questions from approved public or otherwise authorized district information. Users should not send sensitive student records, medical information, passwords, financial information, or other confidential information through the public SMS service.
Data retention
We retain information only as reasonably needed for service operation, security, troubleshooting, analytics, legal compliance, and improvement. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the service involved.
Your choices
For K12 Focus SMS services, you may reply STOP to opt out of further text messages and HELP for assistance. You may also contact K12 Focus with privacy questions.
